After 30 years in the tourism, retail and medical industries in Australia, Our Pacific Office’s founders, Tracy and Brad Russell moved to Fiji in 2012 with their 2 sons. They were offered an opportunity to work at one of Fiji’s beautiful resorts and felt the move was also a great fit for their 12-year old. Experiencing learning difficulties as a result of epilepsy in his younger years, Fiji offered him new opportunities and a sense of belonging.

The move to Fiji was made permanent in 2015 when BTR Fiji was incorporated, and work began on building the family home. Tracy and Brad had experienced huge successes in their son’s personal development and wanted to give back to the country that had given so much to him.

They felt that employment was one clear way they could support locals and by starting a Business Process Outsourcing company, they could create many full time jobs in Fiji’s Western Division. They have successfully achieved this goal and are looking forward to continued Fijian job growth into the future.

Both directors work in the day-to-day operations of Our Pacific Office and live in Nadi with their 2 sons. Their youngest is now in his final years at the local high school and their eldest son, having overcome so many challenges, is working in a successful photography career.
